Look Up @ Custom House
Join Honeyscribe’s Artistic Director and ceramic artist Amy Shelton for an afternoon of making and conversation, celebrating the new site-specific work by Phoebe Cummings created in response to the botanical 17th century plaster ceilings by John Abbott.
Naome Glanville, Arts and Culture Co-ordinator at University of Exeter will support visitors while learning about the ceilings through informal conversations.
Honeyscribe is a small arts charity based in Exeter but working across multiple localities. We create artworks about the environment and human health and curate place-based artistic encounters to illuminate local stories and regenerate the relationship between humans and nature. www.honeyscribe.org
Saturday 11 June, 2pm – 5pm
Suitable for all ages, free, drop-in, no need to book
Note – we will be using wet clay, so expect a bit of messiness
