RAMM about Town: Shaping your High Street
May 18 - June 11
RAMM about Town: shaping your High Street @ Exeter High Street
Exeter’s museum is popping up on Exeter High Street during May and June. Immerse yourself in the historic city and imagine what Exeter’s High Street of the future could look like. Using museum objects, Minecraft, the University of Exeter Hidden Cities app, the RAMM Timetrail guides and LEGO® bricks, a team from the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) and Art Work Exeter (AWE) will be chatting to visitors and exploring what they’d like to see in the High Street of the future.
People of all ages can get hands-on in our LEGO® workshops, where you can build and propose the High Street of your imagination to share with us. Or why not bring your ideas to digital life in Minecraft? Our team will be on hand to guide you through the creative process and capture your ideas.
These daytime sessions will be accompanied by an archaeology day and speaker events over a four week period starting on 18 May and finishing on 11 June.
The shop, located in the old Gap store on Exeter High Street, will be open from Wednesday to Saturday each week from 11am until 3pm.
